Other Types of Grants
The National Housing Endowment Board of Trustees does consider grant
applications for projects that are outside of established categories
but would be consistent with Endowment's mission and have a unique impact on the housing
industry. Most notably, these programs work to preserve the
industry’s history and heritage, honoring the achievements of
industry leaders and promoting an understanding of the
contributions housing makes to the American way of life.
Ideally such programs will educate and inspire current and future
leaders in the residential construction
arena.
Prospective applicants should discuss any proposal with the Endowment
staff prior to submitting an application under this category.
